P.O.D. Projects

Point of Departure (P.O.D.) was a Saratoga-based collective of individuals including digital & traditional film makers, video artists, digital storytellers, writers, directors, actors, composers and others. Meetings were held on the last Monday of every month at 7:00 PM in Palamountain Hall at Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY. Every month we gave ourselves an assignment, usually one word we had to translate into a project, and share it with the group. Below are the assignments I have made.

Sadly, due to lack of interest, POD was broken up. It was a great organization to meet other like minded filmmakers to bounce ideas off of and get feedback on works in progress. BLOODLUST was one such movie that benefitted from the critique sessions of POD. I plan on mnaking and adding other POD like shorts to this page so don't think that since POD is not alive and working this page will go away.
